    Default Write ctrl-z characters

    hello friends,

    i want to write ctrl-z characters to serial port for send sms . pls help me how to write ctrl-z characters in java. i hope you will help me.........

    What is the hex value of the ctrl-z characters?
    Why do you need/want to write those characters?

    i have solved this problem..... instead of ctrl - z i used /032 .....

    Sorry, can you please be more specific on this one?
    I'm heaving same issue. I've tried almost everything what i've found, but still no success. I'm simply trying to send '\u001A' char. Maybe i'll have to use different Data Coding Scheme. :(
