Can you be more specific? "Networking" is a pretty broad topic.

But you might want to check this out: http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/networking/

    Hi,

    I would suggest
    https://www.google.com/#q=java%20networking%20tutorial

I cannot suggest good tutorials because:
    - each person learns different. A tutorial that is great for me can be complete crap for others.
    - I made the experience that the free tutorials often highlight different points. So it is best to read multiple tutorials so you miss less points.

And keep in mind: The most important thing is doing some practice. Just fool around with the code shown in a tutorial and change it or build your own software. If you run into trouble and you have problems to solve it or understand something: remember that you can get help here!

One important point: I am a book reader. I love to read books. Regarding Networking with java, my recommendationis the book "Java Network Programming", 4th edition, by Elliotte Rusty Harold:
Java Network Programming, 4th Edition¬*-¬*O'Reilly Media
(And I am a fan of https://ssl.safaribooksonline.com - They offer a free trial if you want to read the book for a few days. And a tablet with a small subscription is great but I am not sure that they still offer the 10 US$/month one with 5 bookslots.)

    With kind regards,

    Konrad

And no - I do not get money from oreilly - I just really live that subscription model.

Hmm .. "I just really live ..." should have been "I just really love ..." of course.
(And I also have a books24x7 subscription from work which offers more books, but they do not offer an android app / the possibility to read stuff offline. That is something that safaribooksonline has.)
