Default Connect to remote Windows machine using JAVA on Linux

    Hello,
I am running a java application on UNIX Machine and I need to extend it to automate tasks on a remote Windows machine.

Can someone please suggest me some frameworks or libraries available to use to communicate to remote Windows. Or some way to ssh or access its command prompt to do the magic.
I am not allowed to use Telnet protocol as of now.

    Thanks,
    -

Java supports Socket technologies. Try it.

If you write your own java code, then you would need your code plus the JRE on the remote windows machine.

Well ... I was looking something more in lines of Like Perl Library Win32 .... which allows you set the scheduler, remove and do something. People would not want me to host services on that machine. Is there something else which could come out as a solution

This is a java programming forum. So we'd be more likely to look at a java solution.

Yes i agree... But i am looking for a java library similar to the perl Win32. Which allows you to remotely connect to the COM components and do the task.
