    Red face Help needed!!!!! choosing network computers

    Hi everybody,
    I need a way to choose network computers. by using JFileChooser or any other means. I need to retrieve host names and ip addresses of choosen computers....
    its urgently require....and i cant find it anywhere....so please if anyone could help...

    If you're talking about a Windows OS and you want to pick from the 'Network' folder that appears in Explorer, I don't think you can using JFileChooser. Folders at that level are 'virtual' registry mappings, not part of the file system. You can the mapped network drives by drive letter (available from File.listRoots()).
