    i know this site and i tried this before :
    in the server:
    String u []= new String [10];
    oos.writeObject(u);

    in the client :
    ObjectInputStream iss = new ObjectInputStream();
    String [] u;
    u = (String[]) iss.readObject();

    and its not working it gives me an error in the jvm

    assuming the code is using socket you will find an example how to send arrays here
