Web Mining

Hi

I am trying to do web mining where I have to find the author of the web page. now if the authors name is written in the meta tag it becomes much easier to extract the name. But if it is not written in the meta data tag then it becomes difficult. I don;t need the code because i think writing the code for it is my joib I just need the logic, like what could be the possible logic that I can use to solve my problem.

That is an extremely difficult question to answer because it's in the domain of natural language parsing. The sky is the limit and very difficult to reach ...

I know the scope is very big. i have tried different patterns logic but it is not giving me the correct answer everytime. Some tiems it might work but I need to ake it work all the time.
