how to force port-forwarding for socket on a se505 router
I try to connect a client-class to a server-class via a socket-connection written in java. all works fine, when i start the server and the client on the same machine with the ip 127.0.0.1. but, installing the server on another machine in my lan when i try to connect the server is resetted and then an exception is thrown. client and server communicate with tcp/ip via a siemens se505 router. does somebody know which service is needed for port-forwarding socket-connections on the se505 router? or is this kind of connection even impossible?
