Java Network simulator.

I want to simulate lan network using java.So I have downloaded jns 1.7 and javis 3.0.jns 1.7 is used to create .jvs file and javis is network animator used to play the .jvs file.So here my problem is now I want to display the packet data while sending the packet data from sender to receiver.
So please help me resolve this issue.

Generally to see packets you would use a packet sniffer... but if no packets are sent because you are simulating it then it might be tough to sniff.

It is also possible to sniff packets in java using jpcap libraries.

Thanx for your reply.I dont want to actually send packets.but I just want to simulate it using javis 0.3...Can you tell me more about javis 0.3?How does it actually works?
