Ya, I think that's the correct sub-forum too. And also I think that this thread should go to the Suggestions & Feedback forum. ;)

Post Hadoop With Eclipse Configuration in Windows

    Dear all,

I have configured hadoop in windows using cygwin. And i have executed sample example in the command line.

And i want to confiure hadoop in eclipse. I tried but it gives some error while confiuring it self. The problem i have added below.

09/08/26 16:26:46 WARN conf.Configuration: DEPRECATED: hadoop-site.xml found in the classpath. Usage of hadoop-site.xml is deprecated. Instead use core-site.xml, mapred-site.xml and hdfs-site.xml to override properties of core-default.xml, mapred-default.xml and hdfs-default.xml respectively

Usage: MinimalMapReduce [generic options] <input> <output>

    Generic options supported are

-conf <configuration file> specify an application configuration file

-D <property=value> use value for given property

    -fs <local|namenode:port> specify a namenode

-jt <local|jobtracker:port> specify a job tracker

-files <comma separated list of files> specify comma separated files to be copied to the map reduce cluster

-libjars <comma separated list of jars> specify comma separated jar files to include in the classpath.

-archives <comma separated list of archives> specify comma separated archives to be unarchived on the compute machines.

The general command line syntax is

    bin/hadoop command [genericOptions] [commandOptions]

    Thanks in Advance

    Sasi
