    Default Regarding File Transfer in TCP/IP

    Hi,

    I want to transfer any text file or XML file from server to my client machine
    By the Help of TCP/IP.

    But i dont know to write the code for transferring files(txt,XML) through TCP/IP using core java .

    Please help me for the above code.

    I suggest you read the tutorial on sockets at:
    java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/networking/sockets/

    When you understand how sockets work, it's just a matter of choosing the right stream for you needs (which I guess would be either DataOutputStream or ObjectOutputStream and correspondent inputs).

    you should open a port and use buffering for do it .when use buffer you should get a file into outputbuffer .
