I apologize for not having replied to the previous thread.
The idea is always there to draw a line with three classes, but with the help of a GUI builder, such as NetBeans.

Believe me, that's like trying to learn driving in a F1 racer. Got through the Swing tutorials, get familiar with the fundamentals and then (if you still feel the need -- most people don't) get back to the visual designer.
Of course, if this is part of a course assignment meant to teach the intricacies of Matisse, then your instructor is the right person to approach for help.
