    Question Netbeans Sample Countdown timer...

    Dear Friends,

Good day! Im studying Netbeans right now and im wondering why it doesn't have a timer component just like Visual Basic. I hope that you guys could lend me a hand even just by giving me a guide how to create a GUI with a countdown timer or a digital clock, shown in a jTextField or jLabel, thank you very much. Any help is very much appreciated! ^^

Are you aware of javax.swing.Timer? Read the API and you'll find a link to a tutorial on how to use it.
