    If you have not learnt Swing yet then can I suggest not using the GUI builder in Netbeans and just writing the Swing code manually.
    It will be a lot better for you, and a lot easier. The GUI builder is not a very easy tool to use if you do not already know Swing (and also, to be honest, even if you do).
    Please do not ask for code as refusal often offends.
