If you have not learnt Swing yet then can I suggest not using the GUI builder in Netbeans and just writing the Swing code manually.
It will be a lot better for you, and a lot easier. The GUI builder is not a very easy tool to use if you do not already know Swing (and also, to be honest, even if you do).Please do not ask for code as refusal often offends.
