Newbie guide to NetBeans CVS
I managed to stuff up some of my working code today, and spent an hour trying to figure out what I did wrong :-<

this has opened my eyes to the invaluable nature of a CVS repository

however, I don't have a clue how to get things going with the NetBeans CVS functions.

basically, all i need to do is to make backups of my working project, and then increment the versions as i go along, with the ability to drop back to a previous version at some point.

any advice would be much appreciated

Which netbeans version you used. I see that in 6.0 there is guiding tutorial for that. Have you Google on this.
