    Default NetBeans 7 problem

    I'm using netbeans 7 n have problem with it
    First, I create a basic java desktop application as the main, it will be the selection of function, each to access a table of a database.
    As I used basic application instead of database application I have progress bar etc in the view.
    I deleted those unused progress bar etc from the view but there are errors in the source, mostly about status message and progress bar that was seen like :

    statusMessageLabel.setText("");
    statusAnimationLabel.setIcon(busyIcons[busyIconIndex]);
    progressBar.setVisible(false);

    error seen as cannot find symbol

    2nd question, how to bind a foreign key ?
    In my 2nd file which have table I bind the table to my database table, however as I saw it...I can only see n bind column that's normal or PK (assuming this is primary key column), but I can't see foreign key that I supposedly have in that table.

    Thanks in advance n please bear with my noobish questions.

    You're going to have to be more specific than that if you expect to get help on a forum. Paste error messages verbatim, don't try to paraphrase or leave out anything.

    I deleted the main file n rebuild a new one to replace, that solved the cleaning unnecessary stuffs inside.

    Thanks

    about your first question:
    you have deleted the default progressbar on your form, so you should make comment it's related.

    First you should be aware that this thread is almost 3 years old. I really doubt that the problem still exist.

    And second: Why comment out code that is no longer required? Do not mess up your code with commented code. Keep your code clean and readable.
    And use a source versioning system e.g. svn, git, ... to keep versions of your code. That way you can always get back to an old version if you find that you need parts or all of it. (And most tools come with quite nice diff-tools which is also great!)
