    Default Web service + sql

    hello :)
    l want to ceate a web service with connection for a data base . my web service containt 1 request for update . i use oracle 10g and netbeans 6.9
    what are the servers and platforms (Tomcat, Axis ....) which I must add to netbeans for a web service works with Oracle 10g??

    I expect it'll be Axis on Tomcat?
    Or Jax-WS.

    And then JDBC to talk to Oracle.

    I don't know but netbeans containt Glassfish as a application server .can i use glassfish ?
    how i add connction to data base with netbeans ?

    Yep, you can use Glassfish.
    At least I'm pretty sure you can.
    Probably with JAX-WS, since that's the stuff that comes with it (I think).

    I don't rely on IDEs to do my db work, or my web servers I'm afraid. Even if I used Glassfish I'd probably have a stabdalone that I deployed to, and the IDE would simply create the WAR file.
