From this forum I learned that when you want to listen for event on an editable JComoBox you have to
get its editor and editor component then add the event listener.
Java Code:
    aComboBox.getEditor().getEditorComponent().addFocusListener(this);

compare to a JComboBox that the setEditble is equals to false.
Java Code:
    aComboBox.addFocusListener(this);

I am curious/confuse Why Netbeans does not generate code for editable JCombo? Although I set editable to true from
properties, still Netbeans generate code compatible or applicable only at a uneditable JComboBox.
Java Code:
 [b]generated code by netbeans[/b]

  [b][i]txtStockStockNo.setEditable(true);[/i][/b]
        txtStockStockNo.setFont(new java.awt.Font("Times New Roman", 1, 14)); // NOI18N
        txtStockStockNo.setName("txtStockStockNo"); // NOI18N
  [b][i]txtStockStockNo.addFocusListener(new java.awt.event.FocusAdapter() {
            public void focusGained(java.awt.event.FocusEvent evt) {
                txtStockStockNoFocusGained(evt);
            }
        });[/i][/b]
