    Default Newbie question about slide text

    Hi, I am new here and very newbie in java and netbeans! So I have a little program that sending the date in a textbox:
    Java Code:
     Date mifecha = new Date();
            SimpleDateFormat sdFecha = new SimpleDateFormat("EEEE dd 'de' MMMM yyyy  H:m");
            String nhj = sdFecha.format(mifecha);
            txt_fecha.setText(nhj);
    The problem is that the date is NOT counting in the textbox and I wish the date to be a slide text. I was googleing but without succes. Is posible that I'm not searching with the right words...

    So If somebody can tell me how to make slide text and somehow refresh the date or even give me some good links where I could find info, will be very helpfull.

    Thanks in advance to all.bye.

    The part of your message that says "The problem is that the date is NOT counting in the textbox and I wish the date to be a slide text" seems like the crucial part of your question but however doesn't make sense to me. Can you explain your problem again? Using different words maybe?

    Hi and thanks for the quickly reply.
    Once I have the date into the textbox, it dosen't change minutes
    and I wish to be a slide text. Not only changing the value every minute, changing value and moving text.
    Hope I explain better now.:)
