Thie question's still not clear to me. If you don't get a decent answer, please read the link in my signature on how to ask smart questions as it has loads of sound advice in particular how to provide enough detail to make your question answerable.

So, what have you done so far? What works what doesn't work so far? What do you know how to do and what do you not know how to do? Do you understand adding an ActionListener to a JButton and creating code that is activated when the button has been pushed? Have you read the API for JCheckBoxes to see if there is a method for selecting and un-selecting the JCheckBox? JCheckBox is derived from JToggleButton and inherits its methods including setSelected(boolean selected). You may find this method helpful in your JButton ActionListener's actionPerformed method.

My suggestion: try to create a small program that does just this: clears a check mark in a JCheckBox on button press, and then if it doesn't work, post your code here and we'll be better able to help you.
