    Default Debugging using Break point in NetBeans

    can any one explain me how to debugg the code using breakpoint, am able to put breakpoint, but am not able to see the output result of the line to which i had put breakpoint.:confused:

    Not too sure what you mean.
    Is the code stopping at the breakpoint when you run it as Debug?

    Ya, code is stopping at the break point but am not able to see the result calculated in the Variable.

    OK.
    Are you setting the breakpoint on the line where the variable is assigned?
    eg.

    String blah = setBlah(); // <-- breakpoint is here.

    If so, you won't see the assignment until you step over that point.
