    Question any way to auto generate any id in textbox

    hiiiii.......
    i want to display auto generate clientid in client_detail form and i am using oralce9i as a backhand,so i create a sequence on clientid but it is not working so plz give any suitable way to auto generted cltintid in textbox...!

    Do you want to generate auto numbers for database of the Java UI? If you want to do it for DB this is not the correct form.

    But if you want to do it in Java, read more about java.util.Random class on Java API. You can generate numbers within the specified range.

    Provide more details on this, so we all can look at it in deper.
