Default EJB app that R/W on Lucene's Indexs

Hi, I am new with Lucene. New project, what's the best way to write a EJB application that write and read on Lucene's Indexs?

Please consider the write problems on Lucene's Indexs, what's the best way to resolve it as to have the best performance?
What's the best approach to have an excellent performace also for the READ on Lucene indexs?
(What's the best architecture with EJB3 and Lucene?)

Any suggestions? Any links with examples?

    Thanks :-)

Stop looking for the "best", there is no such thing. Focus on getting it to work, that's going to be enough. If you know anything about EJB development you know how to use Lucene in an EJB. If you don't know anything about EJBs, you need to be learning that first. As for performance, Lucene itself takes care of that so no worries there.

I highly suggest you get the book "Lucene In Action".

Thank you for your answer, sorry for the delay, but I read the book.
I have a question, I read the book, how I can execute a class that extends the CreateIndexTask, I mean there aren't examples for the configuration file of properties,
can you halp me , please?
