Default Small Java prog regarding XML

    Hello to everyone,

I need someone to code a small application comparing two XML files and showing the differences (XMLs are nearly the same, just small changes made from version to version).
Please PM me for more information.

    Best regards

thanks for the advice, but I am trying to figure this out for a week now (I am not actually a coder, got this task anyway, nevermind).
So I decided to ask an advanced coder to do this.
Of course I could invite you to Taco Bell or Subway, but I could also pay you if you are really interested in doing this for me.
    PM me for information.

Seriously, your best bet is to check out the documentation on the link I posted. I'm sure there are other options as well. What have you tried? Where are you stuck? You'll typically have better luck doing it yourself than trying to farm out your work.

I wonder how you can get into the situation where you have to build something in Java within a specific time frame when you don't know anything about Java yet. Its starting to look like being late with a homework assignment.

What exactly have you tried? Where exactly are you stuck? What exactly are you confused about? Post a specific technical question and an SSCCE and we'll be happy to help. Vague "how do I do this" type questions are hard to answer other than to point you to google and the tutorials. But questions like "I tried X, expected Y, but got Z, what's going on?" are much easier to answer. Show some effort.

I know what you mean, but after reading a ton of tutorials and books I really get the feeling I am simply too stupid to do this. The best I can "code" right now is a little hello world. I am just tired of trying and I know giving up is not a solution, but asking here for someone who just does it for some bucks is a solution.

What is this for? Work? School? A personal project?

Programming is indeed hard, especially if you just look at the big end-goal project. Start smaller. Write hello world. Then modify that program to read in a file and print that file instead. Now modify that program to read in two files. Take baby steps, and ask specific questions about specific steps.
