Software Developer Payment(m/f) needed at InnoGames in Hamburg, Germany
InnoGames, based in Hamburg, is one of the leading developers and operators of online games with more than 75 million registered players around the world. We have been characterized by dynamic growth ever since the company was founded in 2007. In order to further expand our success and to realize new projects, we are constantly looking for young talents, experienced professionals, and creative thinkers.
You will contribute to our dynamic team of developers to further develop our internal payment platform - a platform used to manage payments from over 70 countries in more than 30 different languages.
In a high availability web and database server environment, your sophisticated and object-oriented solutions will ensure the seamless operation of the payment process.
In addition to the integration of the new payment process, you will focus primarily on the continual improvement and analysis of payment processes using our business intelligence solutions and Google Analytics.
You have several years of experience in object-oriented programming with PHP and at least one other script or programming language (e.g. JAVA, C#, Bash). Your software development is test-driven, and uses the advantages of a continuous integration server (e.g. Jenkins) for deployment. You enjoy working with very large MySQL databases and have basic knowledge of data replication (Master-Master).
Ideally, you have worked in a Scrum team and are comfortable on the command-line of UNIX operating systems. Your profile is rounded off by strong English skills.
The ideal candidate has worked with Web Services (REST, RPC), is interested in the field of NoSQL and distributed systems (e.g. Hadoop) and enjoys having fun with the team.
Constantly new challenges and projects in a sound and constantly growing company with flat hierarchies
Responsibility and creative tasks, including a high degree of professional freedom for your own ideas
A very good atmosphere in an intercultural environment, focused on teamwork
Flexible working hours (core time 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and many team events
Supporting and contributing to the company retirement arrangement
Further training on a regular basis, and a flat rate for reference books
Supporting your move to Hamburg (e.g. through temporarily staying at our company apartment, and allround support if moving here from abroad)
Funding your parking spot on the premises, or your ticket for local public transport
Preventive health care
Creative breaks, e.g. during table soccer, at the PlayStation, or in a beach chair outside
Complementary soft drinks and fresh fruit for all employees
