We are currently looking for one Senior Java Designer and three Mid-level Java Designers.
Senior Level Description: This individual will be working with a Government Agency providing services for the analysis, design, development, construction, testing, implementation, delivery and deployment of application software projects to support this agency's programs. Work assigned will require personnel with Websphere/Java skills.
Responsibilities include the creation, modification and maintenance of documentation required in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process that includes, but is not limited to, Use Cases, Use Case Diagrams, Risk Analysis, Business Design Documents, etc.
Qualifications: Operational expertise with object-oriented design and development as well as the Rational Unified Process. Ten years of progressive experience in the IT field; 5+ years of specific, hands-on experience with most of the following:
Java, Struts, HTML, WebSphere Studio 5.1.2, Rational Application Developer 6.0, Rational Software Architect 6.0/7.0, ANT, JBOSS, Quartz, Rational ClearCase, CVS, MS SQL Server, IBM MQSeries/JMS, SQLAnywhere, IReports/Jasper, Jaws, PageScreamer, Stellent Development Tools, IBM Websphere MQ, MQSoftware DataFlow Studio.
The mid-level IT Specialists will need similar skills but not quite on the level as the senior person. The key to both of these positions is strong Java developer skills. For the senior level position we would prefer a certified java developer.
Salary will depend on experience, but will be discussed on initial contact with the recruiter. Relocation assistance is a possibility.
