At Nokia's Location unit we are creating cutting edge technology that revolutionizes the way people discover what matters to them using their mobile devices and the Internet. Nokia Maps comes preinstalled on more phones than any other maps software in the world. From its inception Nokia Maps was designed with mobile in mind, requiring very little bandwidth and even supporting offline use of maps.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for front-end development and location based services to join our Maps team here in Berlin. As part of the team you will be responsible for the implementation of user interfaces, application logic and algorithms around location based services used in our application for mobile phones.
You would join one of our small SCRUM teams, working in agile development mode to react fast on changes in the market. All our teams have Dev, QA and UX people on board allowing end to end responsibility.

Qualifications
Required:
Experience with .NET and Microsoft tools
Experience in Silverlight
Excellent programming skills in an object orientated languages like Java, C++ or C#
Experience in mobile device application development is highly advantageous
BSc or MSc in computer science or an equivalent qualification
Fluent in English, both in spoken and written form
Experience and interest in location based services is also highly advantageous
Good team player skills
Willing to learn and share knowledge with others
