Java Programmer Wanted For Game!

A few questions:

What Java programming have you done so far for this project? How much Java programming do you currently understand? What library are you using for your graphics? Swing? LWJGL? What are you currently using for version control? SVN?

err...we have no programming done, thats why we need one...so they can decide all that :)

So let me get this straight. You're with a group of guys who want to create a game, but no one really does any serious programming?!? Um,... sorry, but it sounds like you've got the cart ahead of the horse. I think if you're serious about doing this, don't you think you should learn to program yourself and write your own game rather than ask a volunteer to do something that you won't do yourself?

i can program in some languages, just not java :P

Well, my suggestion is that if you want to create a Java game or modify an existing Java game you learn. It's silly to ask others to volunteer for something just because you're unwilling or unable to do it yourself for whatever reason.
