    Default Looking for free Help.

I'm looking for someone to create an application for me and possibly other applications in the near-future. This would be a no-pay job, and the applications would be private, non-social networks, only for a group of about 10 or less friends.

    Overview.
Need someone to create Desktop Applications.
    No pay/income.
No due dates/timelines. Just a "When complete" timeline.
Nothing to complicated, just some basic applications.

Email me if you're interested, or want details of the application I need created.

Why don't you just do this yourself? Why dump it on someone else when you can use this as a learning opportunity?

I have no experience with Java, as far as coding.
I have the Netbeans IDE 6.9.1 but Clueless on how to use it.
I wouldn't know where to start, what to search for, as far as tutorials or information on how to start.

So far, I only need two things completed.

One of them being a more complex program, that requires server-side code, to distribute/update/and receive information.

The other project, is rather simple..
Just a. "Replace text with text" but a bit more advanced..

Sort of like a "Encoder and Decoder"

Type in text into field 1, hit "encode" and in field 2, you would have your coded text, which would vary, on the "Key List" that you use. I want to use "key lists" because i want to have different lists of Codes and what not.

    So..key 1 : Replaces A with o
    while key 2 : Replaces A with Q

I also wish to have this case-sensitive, and to modify numbers as well.
the ability to "pop in" a key list, hopefully a .txt file instead of some special file.

    =/

Time for a reality check: No one is going to just do these projects for you, no one, and if you want to pay for them, it will likely cost you more than you want to pay right now. So I suggest you buckle down and learn to program with a goal towards creating your projects. It is a fun and rewarding hobby/avocation/career, and you've nothing to lose by putting in the effort and everything to gain. There are some decent tutorials, a great series in fact beginning here: The Java Tutorials Really Big Index

    Much Luck.
