The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong technical skills and experience in Q/ KDB+, Java and Linux. The candidate should also have good business and communication skills to represent the team confidently while liaising with Quantitative Analysts, Traders and Business leads. Background/ Work Experience Required • Experience in Q/ KDB+. • Experience in the financial services sector and working with market data. • Ability to work under pressure and thrives in a challenging environment. • Experience in working with and managing relationships with business stakeholders. • Background in Equities/ Commodities/ Options a distinct advantage. • Software requirements capture and analysis, system design and architecture, development and testing. • Knowledge of RMDS an advantage. • Working with and improving performance of applications in a Linux environment. • Experience in Linux shell scripting. • Experience in SQL or T-SQL.
