My client is currently looking for a J2EE Application Developer & Support Analyst to join their team to provide support and development for Web and Microsoft Application based systems. The role would include providing day-to-day support for existing services as defined by their external clients.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :-

At least 4 years+ experience of developing in J2EE and associated technologies with all or some or all of the following:- Hibernate, Spring framework, Portlets, Ant scripting, EJBs, BEA-Weblogic-Integration 8.1, JSPs, serverlets within an Application Support environment.

You will be required to gain skills in any of the above areas to which you are not currently knowledgeable

An understanding of BEA WebLogic Application Server, Oracle, Windows 2000 server and Solaris along with a willingness to expand this knowledge/skills.

An understanding of the full life cycle process.

Good communication and inter personnel skills

Ability to assess estimates for implementation of change requests

ROLE WILL INCLUDE :-

Over and above the technical requirements for this role, you will be expected to be able to apply technical expertise within a service delivery environment and be comfortable to develop technical solutions without adversely impacting the operational effectiveness of the supported systems.

Strong interpersonal skills are expected as you will be communicating on a daily basis with our client. Any previous experience within Public Sector organisations would be welcomed.
