The resource must have a strong technical background with abilities to pick up new open source technologies and deliver software using them in short turn around cycles.

The resource must have good communication skills to interface with technical counterparts at the customer end and respond quickly to any queries raised.

The resource must have the best trouble shooting skills, ability to think logically and crack issues making the delivery experience impressive.

The resource will have abilities to manage & mentor a team of developers and guide them to become the best in the industry to deliver the best possible quality code within aggressive deadlines in a challenging and learning based environment.

This is what he/she is expected to deliver?
Technical Leadership
• Assistance in planning and creating plans for delivery
• Taking charge of technical decisions for projects
• Trouble shooting for team members and assisting them in achieving tasks
Mentoring
• Ensuring that the team receives mentoring in the technology
• Conducting regular knowledge sharing sessions with team members
Quality Assurance
• Ensuring that code quality is 100% in line with the coding standards agreed
• Ensuring that all processes of the organisation are followed right from using Templates, best practices etc
• Build a sense of quality fundamental consciousness amongst all developers in the team by providing direct feedback with corrective measures and check points
Team Management
• Ensuring that all the team members are treated equally by providing equal time and support to them to succeed
• Recruit/build the right talent that is required for the organisation

Technical Knowledge required:
Strong knowledge on at least 2/3 of the following areas
Swings
EJB
Web-services
SOA concepts
Ajax
Must have good knowledge on using one of the below tools
CVS
Sub version
Vss
Must possess good skills on
Eclipse
Net beans
Must possess good skills on one of the below DB’s
Sql server
Oracle 9i
Must possess excellent core java skills
Must possess strong skills on at least 2 of the following areas
JBOSS
Glassfish
Websphere
Tomcat
Weblogic
Should have team lead experience of at least 2 years.
Should have used junit and Cunit
Must have done code reviews using sun java standards and used tools to do a part of the same.
Must have performance optimization experience
