I just found a project Copyright 2005, 2008 by Fernando Silveira that wraps jni in c-code .... apparently the work of someone who knows what they are doing if anyone could translate the comments into english ?

Close, but not quite... it's not Spanish, the comments in the code are in Portuguese.

I'm the creator of jnyikes and I would like to improve its documentation and features. The comments are not written in english is just because it was a small local brazilian project in 2005 and I did not spend a second after uploading it to Google code.
Please let me know what you need and I'll be glad to help you.
PS: I already started the comments improving by myself and if I get more feedback I'll code all the missing Java resources needed to use in more new projects.
