My client, a global blue chip organisation is looking to recruit a Java Developer to work on a prestigious Public Sector account. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Java Development professionals to undergo UK DV Security Clearance within an organisation that will offer fantastic development and training prospects.

The successful Java Developer’s day-to-day responsibilities will include but not limited to: Support Technical Design meetings, Application Development and ongoing support on a 3rd line basis of developed applications, taking responsibility for the detailed design/coding/unit testing and documentation of appropriate work, producing outline System specifications for pieces of work while translating logical specifications into physical specifications from which others can work.

Interested candidates will need to demonstrate proficiency in Java and the J2EE framework with demonstrable development expertise. You will have a degree of flexibility regarding travel and be eligible for UK DV Security Clearance. Desirable skills include: BEA Server, Oracle and/or PL/SQL.
