Job Description
Actively participate in the design and development of the company’s post trade settlement system. We are seeking a motivated, high energy candidate who will participate in the development and enhancement of our Relationship Trading product suite.

Job Responsibilities

 Design and develop a highly scalable and available message processing system
 Collaborate with product manager to design new features for existing applications
 Opportunity to lead the development of a key component and/or application
 Collaborate with Senior Architect and development manager in the design and implementation of reusable software components
 Collaborate with QA and application support teams to improve service delivery, reduce system outages and ensure client satisfaction

Education/Experience
Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems and a
minimum of 5+ year’s software engineering experience.
MS or advanced degrees a plus
Financial services experience a plus

Required Skills:
Software engineering:
• Experience with developing and deploying web applications
• Detailed understanding of JMS architecture and usage
• Strong understanding of software system analysis and design
• Java programming – Experience building concurrent, distributed programs
• Practical usage of Hibernate and Spring.

Infrastructure
• Relational database – data schema design. Strong understanding of Oracle, familiarity JDBC & SQL
• Development of applications in a UNIX / Linux environment
• Development / management of Tomcat
