I am about to graduate with a degree in Information Systems and i was curious of
what an entry level java program looks like? I have taken a few Java courses but i really have no idea what the begining entry level work looks like, if anyone could post an example or have any way to show, i would appreciate it.

Re: I am about to graduate with a degree in Information Systems and i was curious of
Not sure what you are asking? I would consider myself a complete Java newbie, however even I have "production" programs that run at my work. I have created some basic ones myself, and have modified some other more complex ones (with proper licensing of course! ;-P !) I have even taken the horribly documented Amazon Marketplace Web Service (MWS) Java client library for the Amazon MWS api and turned it into a fully functioning order management system that interfaces with our warehouse and supply chain management server and even uses its own database (mysql) to store and organize order information and spit out order statistics. All from someone who started learning java about 3 months ago. (enough tooting my own horn lol)
So I guess to answer your question, a "entry level" program can be whatever it needs to be. I believe it really comes down to the level of sophistication of the program as well as how "proper" or "clean" the code is (meaning less potential for possible runtime bugs, etc... that a more seasoned programmer would know to avoid). I make plenty of mistakes and a lot of my work is done by "trial-and-error". Sorry if thats not the clear and concise answer you were looking for... **shrugs**
