    Default loading data from a text file

    Is there a simple way to load data from a text file into a Derby database?

    For example, in MySQL, I can accomplish this with the following command:

    mysql> load data local infile 'file_name' into table table_name;

    where file_name is the text file with the data to be loaded and table_name is the name of the table where the data is to go.

    O.K. I have discover the system procedure SYSCS_UTIL.SYSCS_IMPORT_TABLE. This is truly ugly! Is there a simpler way to accomplish the importation of data from a file? Can this be put into a script that can be run from the ij> prompt?
