    Default Communication link failure using hibernate

    hi,

    I'm newbie with hibernate do you have any solution how to fix this error:

    WARNING: SQL Error: 0, SQLState: 08S01
    SEVERE: Communications link failure
    Last packet sent to the server was 0 ms ago.

    Pls. take note that DB is on the other machine does it affects the connection. thnx..

    server used: glassfish

    You need to set the correct property in c3p0.properties file. Check out this article.
