How to get the type of the loaded JDBC driver.

I am using an oracle JDBC driver of version 10.2.0..

Is there any interface method where i can get the type of the loaded driver some thing like whether it of Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, Type 4.?

Using the Type of the driver iam going the manipulate some of the supported data types.

Hi,
I think there is no motheod that can tell u the type of the loaded driver, but u can use the Class.getName(), Class.getSimpleName() or Class.getCanonicalName() to find out the name of the class of the driver.
Maybe if u know the name of the class u can know also the type of the driver, Bye.
