    Question plz i need help ((ER diagram))

    hi every ine i would like some one to help me with my following ERD problem:

    first i want to give you a brief explanation of my database......
    every instructor teaches many courses...and each course may contain many sections....besides each instructor has his own question for the course assigned to him...
    here is my ER:
    instrucor--->teaches>----course---->contains>-----section----->has>----Question

    is my ERD correct???if it's not p;z help me!!!:confused:

    From where you have learned to make ER diagram like that?

    It looks right but if you can put the real ER here, it will be more easy to see, and if you can put cardinality here it will make more sense.

    instrucor-1-->teaches>-N---course--1-->contains>---N--section---1-->has>--N--Question

    There is one thing confusing and that is can we say that teacher teaches many courses and teacher teaches many sections?

    because by this diagram it will become difficult to find which teacher teach which section.

    you're right ....i suppose to link each instructor to a spesific section ...
    just like the following>>
    instrucor-1-->teaches>-N---section--M-->assigned-to>---1--course
    also section--1---->contains>----M--Question
    is it ok now?

    I am 100% sure that your entities are right but cannnot say about the relationships unless you put/copy-paste the real question here if possible.
