    Default Invalid Path???

I'm new to java and am using JCreator to build and run my simple java programs and I keep getting invalid path messages that say that it is looking for folders that don't exist.

    Error : Invalid path, "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0\bin\javac.exe" -g -classpath "C:\Program Files\Xinox Software\JCreatorV4LE\MyProjects" -d "C:\Program Files\Xinox Software\JCreatorV4LE\MyProjects" "C:\Program Files\Xinox Software\JCreatorV4LE\MyProjects\MyName.java"

Im using JDK7 u51 but it keeps asking for JDK8. Any ideas how to fix this?

    Hi,

i have no experience with jcreator, but maybe your system has some jdk 8 fragments on it (e.g. registry keys - do a search in it for jdk1.8.0) or jcreator has it inside its configuration.

That are my guesses right now.

    With kind regards,

    Konrad
