    Default JCreator JDK docs?

    Hi everybody,

I'm a new poster, and a Java newbie, although I know programming ok.

I'm using JCreator at work, and it integrates with Java Docs correctly. When I right-click a Java class method (drawRect, for example), a new tab opens inside JCreator and shows the Java class documentation (Graphics, for example). Very helpful.

But on another computer, when I do the same thing, it only opens the Books View Window on the right pane, with an unopened treeview of the API. Not helpful.

I think the Configure / Options / JDK Profile settings are the same on both computers. Any ideas why I'm having this problem, and how to fix it?

    Thanks,
    Jerry

I would like to know, as well. I downloaded and installed Java Docs, but JCreator still tells me I don't have java docs installed when I start it up, and have to browse for it.

I reinstalled JCreator, and it worked. I think the paths were set correctly before, but it works now (after reinstalling) so I'm happy.

    Check the paths at:

Configure / Options / JDK Profile / select the profile / Edit / Documentation

OK, Thanks, I'll try that. I was making the changes in projects, not in configure.
