Default "header" of jsp files - simple question

    Hello,

I have the same header in all my .jsp files. I include other .jsp files from index.jsp. Do I need to use the header in all files or is it just fine to use it only in index.jsp? The header looks like this:

    PHP Code:
    <%@page contentType="text/html" pageEncoding="UTF-8" language="java" %>
    <%@taglib prefix="c" uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core"%>
    Thanks

JSP page included dynamically (jsp:include) must have a taglib declaration if it uses the taglib because it is compiled separately.
JSP page included statically does not have the same restriction because it's compiled into the servlet itself.
