    Default onchange method is not calling

    we have hyperlinks
    first,prev,next,last
    whenever click on this hyperlink one id value is populating into textbox.
    this is done proper..but after populating this id value automatically onchange method of that textbox has to be called..but onchange method is not calling..how to call this?
    Java Code:
    <td width="5%" align='left'><a href="javascript:getFirstRecord();">First</a></td>
    <td width="7%" align='left'><a href="">Prev</a></td>
    <td width="5%" align='left'><a href="">Next</a></td>
    <td width="15%" align='left'><a href="javascript:getLastRecord();">Last</a></td>
    <td width="5%">Bug Id </td>
    <td width='15%' align=''><input type="text" id="bugId" name="bugId" value="${model.bugId}" onchange="showRemarks();"/></td>

    Default Re: onchange method is not calling

    This is a Javascript question.
    There's no sign of JSP/Java stuff here.

    Anyway, onchange won't be fired until the field is left (ie loses focus).
    You might prefer onkeypress (I think that's the one).
    Please do not ask for code as refusal often offends.
