    Of course things like Ajax change the flow a bit, but then, instead of passing the stuff to a JSP, you're creating some JSON string and sending that to some Javascript to process.
    i dont know javascript and ajax
    i am working on one application and following your suggestion so . if i put all data in arraylist and pass that arraylist to jsp is this right programming practice ??
    is that rigth?

    or it will make overhead or slow down speed and security??

    Overhead will be down to the amount of data you are sticking into the List.
    If you;re dumping the entire contents of a million row table then I'd suggest looking into paging...:)
    Speed is much the same as well. The more data you draw on, the slower it will be to get round to displaying your page.
    Security (as far as this goes) is no concern as it all happens on the server anyway. The client only gets to see the completed HTML.
