chat app in jsp

i have intermediate knowledge of jsp , servlets and m good at sql.
is it enough for me to start make a chat app that i want to make. ...
If anyone has a sample chat app ready in jsp pls send me a link ...

Hi. Recently I did the same task. So do you know any thing about ajax? Because you will encounter this problem how update a chat. For example user sent new message and another user want to get it without update all page with chat. For this aim is used ajax technologies.
