Does anyone know???
Hi,

I am working on creating a website, which has a discussion forum just like this Java forum. What I wanted to know is if there are some easy tools available to making my coding easier. I need to implement functionalities such as Post New Thread, Reply, etc.. Most important, how should I save the data, as it will be highly non-structured. Should I go for tabular data storage or store in some flat files?

Please guide.

Regards,
Toral

I guess ever forum software uses databases to store data. To get an idea you can download free forums software and see how they store data in their tables. To begin your search i can recommend SMF and PhpBB forum softwares. Both are open-source. But i am sure there are lots of more..
