Default Can AJAX be used in JSP?

Ive been searching the net but I could not find a proper tutorial (like the tutorials in w3schools) about using AJAX in JSP.

I want to use AJAX in JSP since AJAX can change the content of the page without the page having to reload.

Can anyone please direct me to a site where I can learn AJAX in JSP.

If there is really none, is there an alternative method in JSP where a content can change without having the page to reload?

All you can do with other languages (PHP for example), you can also do it with JSP...

You can see few samples here Java - How to use Ajax in JSP

My advice is to find some jquery and php samples and simple rewrite included PHP script into JSP

I'll post small samples which I wrote for web shop... (in next couple days...)

Since Ajax is simply Javascript there is no reason you can't use it.
The JSP code runs on the server to create an HTML page.
That HTML page can contain whatever javascript is allowed on an HTML page...that Javascript runs on the client.
