Default response.sendRedirect problem

I'm trying to set a HTML button that call another JSP page, using response.sendRedirect.

Java Code:
<input type="submit" value="ok" onClick="<
%response.sendRedirect("http://exs/sdrt.jsp");
%>" />
it doesn't work.

what's the problem?

Smile RE: response.sendRedirect problem

Hi,
You can not directly use response.sendRedirect on button click event.
Make one javascript function and after that redirect your page to required URL.
