Get CSS/ Use existing CSS

hi,

I am looking at recreating an existing web page design. The new pages designed will just go in as additional component in the existing portal.
But as of now i do not have access to the code base.

Is there a way to get the CSS from the portal directly ?
Is there a way to get the CSS from the location of CSS shown in the view source? (the location could not be identified.)

Firefox has a nice plugin called "firebug" it allows you to see the inventory of CSS, javascript files that come with loading a single page.
