Unhappy unnable to view the default home page though j2ee server starting properly

    plz help!!

My j2ee server running properly. I m using windows xp home, j2ee1.3 apache tomcat 4.0 and sql2005.But when i try to view the default home page j2ee server by providing localhost:8080 or localhost:8000 or 127.0.0.1.8080 there is that error page showing the page not found or 127.0.0.1.8080 server not found.
All the environment variables are set properly. I m having visual2005 installed too. Are multiple (though only two) servers creating the mess??

While trying to run my jsp application which was working fi9 when previously developed with sql2000, is not executing jsp pages. As it only show the html pages and wherever data retrieval is required the table is blank. I doubt if the changing to sql2005 could be the issue?

M waiting 2 get this mess sorted at the earlies. I hope i wudnt b dissappointed.

    thanx!!!

    Default

first check wheather it is connected to database or not..!
after writing Connection statement to database..try to see wheather you are connected to database or not using output statement. if it says you are connected then sumthing must be wrong on query. try catching the exception using SQLException.
